Amusia – web project / net art with sound, 2002
The earlier days of mp3s. Participants were asked to tell me their favorite song, from now (2002) and when they were children. I searched for their favourite songs on the then fledgling google and used the found songs as the soundtrack. A curious coincidence happened with one song appearing in both English and Italian.
Images are a combo of found images and ones participants mailed in. This was done in Flash, some features were animated, as in text scrolling, colours slowly changing over time.
