Final Requests – Video Installation, 2003
An installation contemplating the final requests of prisoner’s on death rows. Seven glass windows were sandblasted with profiles of prisoners on death row. Images were taken from their mugshots found online. Behind the glass windows a video loop is projected on the wall with seven ~3 min sections. I am cooking the meals. Most text and images were found, or inspired by, the web, mainly from the Texas Offender Information site (they have since changed their site to remove the meals).
